So I’ve decided to submit some of my work in to a large church media design competition held by ChurchMediaDesign.tv
There are 5 categories i can submit to:
Mini Movie
Sermon Intro Video
Sermon Package
Worship Background
Event Promo
I have pretty much every category covered but dont know which i should submit. So now I’m asking you!
Please pick which you like the best, and if there are any that i did not list please feel free to add them if you enjoyed them.
Then it would be helpful if you would comment on what categories i should submit them to.
Checked out the tutorial on ChurchMediaDesign (thanks) about MatchingMoving and thought id give it a shot. Picked up PfHoe and followed the tutorials here:
Software – Final Cut Pro / Adobe After Effects CS4 Music – Angels & Airwaves Purpose – Was created as an intro video for a new series at Every Nation Tallahassee called Peacemakers.
Camera – Canon VIXIA HF 10 Software – Final Cut Pro / Adobe After Effects CS4 Music – Mark Mothersbaugh Purpose – Was filmed as an intro video for a new series at Every Nation Tallahassee called Encourage. The idea was to make a fun video with the major staff people from the church encouraging the congregation.
A good friend of mine, Rick Seibold, had just released his latest album called NEW YORK which you can get here on itunes. After talking to him about his latest idea of re-releasing the album with just acoustic tunes i had mentioned an idea about the album work. Since he was stripping down the recorded songs to just acoustic, almost like going backwards in the creation process i thought it would be a cool idea to do the same artwork but also go backwards in the process and basically have a sketched out album cover, kind of a “concept art” look. He thought it was a great idea and here is what we came up with.
Keep on the lookout for this guy, he has some catchy tunes.

The next series to be done at EveryNationTallahassee is going to be CHARGE. We will be going through the book 2nd Timothy.
The FOCUS verse is 2 Tim 2:2-3 so this is what i came up with.

I’ve been contemplating separating this blog to two blogs. For the simple fact that there are many things that i would like to share that are more personal thoughts and some stuff that would reveal much of my quirkiness but i hold them back because i would like to have a place i can showcase my work.
So my thought is to have 2 blogs one for my Media and professional stuff and another that is just simply a doorway into .. well… a place only few have gone. But that also seems like a lot of work and well… may discourage me to give adequate attention.
I just been learning more and more about Adobe After Effects and trying to get some more tools under my belt so i did this animated Every Nation Tallahassee logo.
